About the Prints

Each original print is specially crafted by me and represents my final visualization of the photographed scene. The process employed in its production is an amalgamation of traditional film technology and modern day digital printing. The original negative or transparency is digitized using a high resolution drum-scanner. With the help of a computer I then perform familiar darkroom procedures, such as spotting, cropping, contrast/tonal corrections and color balancing, in order to produce the "print ready" version of the image file. My prints are made on archival quality paper (Hahnemuhle Photo Rag) with pigment based inks (Epson Ultrachrome). According to Wilhelm Imaging Research this combination of paper and inks have an estimated longevity rating of 100 years when framed and displayed behind glass.

Digital post-processing and printing have provided me with the necessary tools to make fine prints that display exceptional sharpness, color and tonal range. Several of my prints are held in private collections. Some are on display in select art galleries.

Limited Variant Editions

In my quest to produce the highest quality prints of my photographs I have decided to deviate from the traditional limited-edition concept (where all the prints in an edition are identical). By adopting the print-on-demand model I am able to offer limited-variant-editions where the prints within the same edition can be different. Changes are normally introduced when an improvement in printing technology, substrate or ink-set allows me to produce a better print of the same photograph.

The edition size is restricted to 100 prints and 10 artist's proofs (inclusive of all sizes). When an edition runs out, no more prints of that photograph will be made. Each print is signed and numbered by me and includes a certificate-of-authenticity.

Price Schedule

Prints are available in a variety of sizes and they may be ordered with or without a mat. All mounted prints come with conservation quality white mats and are ready to frame. Extreme care is taken when mounting prints and all material used is acid-free. The current pricing schedule is as follows:
